What do students in Brekkuskóli, Iceland think about coding?

Brekkuskóli took part in "Hour of code" during all years of the project. In 2015 all students from grade 2.-10. took part where older students visited younger students and taught them how to code.

Work station lesson in 1.grade in Norway.

This pictures are from a work stations lesson in 1. grade. They have one computer station where they learn English, one computer station where they learn how to tell time. They have also one station where they play how to run a food shop with their own cash register. We also have one smartboard station. They usually learn math, Norwegian or English here. You can also see that they have an iPad station where they have an app for learning how to tell the time.

Take a look at the link below! Norwegian and latvian students have made a dance, written down all the dance moves, filmed it and sent it to the students in the other country. Then they learned the new dance they recieved. The result was very good!
